Che ne dite di un bel pò di sci e snowboard??

Per la gioia degli amanti di entrambi gli sport ecco una breve vacanza di tre giorni e una successiva gita in giornata, compagnia differente all'insegna di tanta neve e divertimento!!

Volete saperne ancora, andiamo avanti nel nostro racconto...

For the delight of fans of both sports here is a short break of three days and then a day trip, different company in the name of fun and lots of snow!

Se vi va di passare qualche giorno in mezzo alla neve candida, della buona polenta e bhè nel mio caso qualche ruzzolone con la tavola da snowboard, di certo son tutte cose che non mancheranno!!

Per chi ama questi sport e non li pratica agonisticamente posso assicurare che il Terminillo è decisamente una possibile meta, per tutti gli altri non mi posso esprimere solo perchè non faccio parte del gruppo, ma ve lo consiglio comunque dal momento che mi sono trovata davvero bene e tutte le persone che ho incontrato sono state molto gentili anche quando con la mia amica ne abbiamo combinata una delle nostre!

If you like to spend a few days in the snow white, good polenta and well, in my case a few tumble with the snowboard, of course are all things that will not fail!

For those who love these sports and non-competitive practice I can assure them that the Terminillo is definitely a possible mountain destination, for all the others I can not express me just because I am not part of that group, but I recommend it anyway because everything was very pleasant and all the people I met were very kind and helpful with us even when my friend had an accident.

L'anno scorso avevamo organizzato una mini settimana bianca, poiche si trattava di tre notti e quattro giorni, non avendo a disposizione la macchina ci siamo mosse in pulman fino a Rieti dove poi abbiamo aspettato, in compagnia di due buoni cappuccini, la corriera per arrivare.

Appena arrivate ci siamo dirette verso l'albergo, l' Hotel Togo Palace Terminillo ( http://www.hoteltogopalace.com/new/index.php ).

Si tratta di un grazioso hotel proprio sulle piste, il che era ottimo dal momento che il nostro maggiore mezzo di trasporto sarebbero stati i nostri piedi ed eravamo accompagnate da due valige discretamente pesanti.

La camera era una bella doppia, con bagno in camera, televisione e balconcino sulla piazza.

Per quanto riguarda le tariffe potete tranquillamente controllare il sito, ma per darvi un idea diciamo che la mezza pensione puo variare dai 50 ai 90 euro, si mangia davvero bene, e per il 3° e per il 4° letto ci sarà un surplus di circa 30 euro.

Check in ore 10.30 e check out alle 14.00.

Potrete trovare anche diverse offerte a seconda del periodo dell'anno.

Proprio lì davanti abbiamo affittato l'attrezzatura, muovendoci in pulman non me l'ero sentita di portarmi la tavola, ad un ottimo prezzo; il proprietario ci ha inoltre consigliato dove andare per chiedere un' ora di lezione di snowboard.

Last year we organized a short holiday on the mountain, it was three nights and four days,we not have the car, so we moved by bus to Rieti, where we waited the other bus to go on the mountain in the company of two good cappuccini.

As soon as we arrived we headed for the hotel, the Hotel Togo Palace Terminillo (http://www.hoteltogopalace.com/new/index.php).

This is a nice hotel near to the lifts, which was great because our major means of transport were our feet and we were accompanied by two fairly heavy suitcases.

The room was really nice with private bathroom, television and balcony on the square.

About the rates you can safely control the site, but to give you an idea:

the half board can vary from 50 to 90 euro, we eat really well, and for the 3rd and 4th bed will be a surplus, about 30 €.

Check in 10.30 and check out at 14.00.

You can also find various offers, depending on time of year.

In front of the hotel we rented the equipment, moving by bus I do not feel to bring the table with me, at a great price and the owner has also helped us to find a lesson of snowboarding.

Il tempo è stato un pò in tutti i modi, bellissimo, caldo, soleggiato, ha nevicato, è piovuto, c'è stata un pò di nebbia e c'è stata tantissima nebbia e poi di nuovo il sole... un pò per tutti i gusti.

A tre minuti a piedi dall'hotel troverete anche una farmacia, un bar e svariati negozietti.

Proprio accanto alle piste c'è un delizioso ristorante dove pranzo tutte le volte che vengo qui, la prima volta con i miei genitori, quando mi portarono a provare la mia nuova tavola da snow regalatami per il compleanno, oramai qualche anno fa.

Si mangia molto bene e potete vedere il ristorante nella primissima foto del post.

The weather was a in every way, beautiful, warm, sunny weather, it snowed, it rained, there was a bit of fog and there was lots of fog and then sunshine again ... a little something for everyone.

Walking for three minutes from the hotel there are also a pharmacy, a bar and various shops.

Next to the lifts, there is a great restaurant where you can eat a delicious lunch, I go there every time I go to Terminillo, the first time with my parents, when they took me to try my new snow board given to me for my birthday, a few years ago.

We eat very well and you can see the restaurant in the very first pictures of the post.

Proprio l'ultimo giorno di vacanza la mia amica ha avuto un piccolo incidente, così grazie al rapido intervento di un insegnante di sci ci hanno subito raggiunto i carabinieri che hanno verificato come stesse la mia amica, caricata sulla motoslitta, portata dove ci avrebbe raggiunto l'ambulanza, aspettato che li raggiungessi e infine parlato con i gentili signori dell'ambulanza affichè potessi salire anche io, poichè non avrei avuto altro modo di raggiungere l'ospedale.

Fortunatamente tutto è bene quel che finisce bene, siamo state benissimo e torneremo al più presto, per rivedere questi splendidi paesaggi e imparare un pò di più questi splendidi sport di montagna!

The very last day of vacation my friend had a small accident, so thanks to the rapid intervention of a teacher of skiing we are reached by the Carabinieri who checked the health of my friend who had beaten her back, taked on the snowmobile; the ambulance waited for us in the square. They talked to the gentlemen of the ambulance so that I could go with them , because I would not have another way to get to the hospital.

Fortunately, all's well that ends well, we were fine and come back soon to review these beautiful landscapes and learn a bit more about these beautiful mountain's sports!

E dopo un pomeriggio, per il quale l'aggettivo nebbioso sarebbe riduttivo, eccovi lo spettacolo dal balcone della camera.. bello vero?!

And after an afternoon, for which the adjective foggy would be reductive, here's the show from the balcony of the room .. nice right?!

Come vi ho detto sono poi tornata con un altro accompagnatore per una giornata di puro divertimento, questa volta macchina e attrezzatura da casa, in poco tempo eccoci arrivati e parcheggiato.

Abbiamo affittato gli sci per il mio compagno di avventure e il casco per me nello stesso posto dell' altra volta e poi, dopo un'eccezionale mattianata anche con qualche buffo ruzzolone da parte mia, pranzo nel mio ristorante preferito; di nuovo sulle nostre tavole pronti a divertirci fino alla chiusura degli impianti.

As I told you, I came back with another friend for a day of fun, this time machine and equipment from home, in a short time and here we are parked.

We rented skis for my friend and a helmet for me in the same place of 'last time and then, after an exceptional morning with some funny tumble, lunch at my favorite restaurant, back to our tables ready to have fun until the lifts close.

Bentornati a tutti!!

Eravamo rimasti alla fine dell'estate quando ci siamo lasciati, è arrivato poi l'inverno e dopo Natale la prima gita del nuovo anno, il

2010, eccoci a Milano!!!!

Saremmo stati solo un giorno, partenza con Alitalia la mattina presto e rientro la sera :).

E' davvero una bella città , ricca di cultura, eventi e negozi.

Dall' aeroporto abbiamo preso l'autobus che ci ha portato in circa un quarto d'ora in centro, iniziano così le passeggiate per le vie principali!!!

It was the end of the summer when we left, then came the winter, after Christmas and the first outing of the new year,

2010, here we are in Milan!!

We would have been only a day, starting with Alitalia in the morning and return in the evening :).

It 's really a beautiful city, rich in culture, events and shops.

From the airport we went by bus that took us in a quarter of an hour in the center, we began walking through the main streets!

Proprio qui vicino potrete passeggiare galleria Vittoro Emanuele II, dopo la quale arriverete al Teatro dell' Opera, nella cui piazza quando siamo andati c'erano anche delle grandi lumache viola, le potrete vedere nelle foto qui successive!

Se amate i gioielli gia fatti o da creare, potreste andare a dare un' occhiata in un particolare negozio, "MASCHIO" si trova via San Pietro all'Orto 17.

Hanno moltissime pietre e tipi di gioielli, più o meno costosi.

To give you an 'idea of prices, I can tell you that I spent, at lunch, to eat a generous fillet of beef , a green salad, a Diet Coke and a big slice of pineapple, about 36 €.

Se volete un pranzo un pò più veloce, un pò più economico ma comunque buono, vi suggerisco una trattoria pugliese. La incontrerete andando verso Porta Garibaldi, sulla destra del marciapiede alla fine della via. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono.

If you prefer a faster, cheaper but however good lunch, I suggest you a really good trattoria Pugliese (it's like a tavern).

You meet it going to Porta Garibaldi, the right of the sidewalk at the end of the street.

The relation quality-price is good.

Dovete assolutamente andare a vedere un fantastico negozio davvero grande, dislocato su più piani che vende di tutto: bicchieri, piatti, oggetti da cucina divertenti, album fotografici e qualunque tipo di oggetti elettronici, porta computer e tanto altro!!

Si chiama High-Tech, davvero carino!!

You should definitely go to see a really big and great shop, located on several floors selling everything from glassware, dishes, fun kitchen items, photo albums and all kinds of electronic items, computer port and much more!

E così arrivata l'ora di tornare in aeroporto, abbiamo ripreso il volo e siamo tornati a casa.

Una meravigliosa giornata, con una gita decisamente diversa dal solito.

Ovviamente se avete più tempo c'è ancora tanto da vedere in questa graziosa città!!!

Benvenuti a Montreal!!

Dinamica, divertente, esplosiva, stupefacente, sono solo alcuni degli aggettivi con cui descrivere questa eccezionale città, dove il caldo e le belle giornate hanno illuminato ancora di più le nostre giornate!

Dopo diverse ore di macchina abbiamo visto il cartello Montreal Downtown e così.......

Ci siamo perse :D

Ebbene si... mancava sempre meno tempo alla riconsegna della macchina e non avevamo la piu pallida idea di dove ci trovassimo, arrivate in uno spiazzo abbiamo incontrato una macchina della polizia con tre poliziotti che non solo ci hanno portato a far benzina, cosicchè non dovessimo riconsegnare la macchina senza pieno, ma ci hanno accompagnato fino all'ufficio di riconsegna, entrandocon noi e spiegando il motivo del nostro ritardo.

Sono stati davvero gentili!!

Dynamic, funny, explosive, amazing, are just some of the adjectives that describe this great city, where the warm and fine weather have illuminated our days even more!

After several hours on our car we saw the sign for Downtown Montreal and so .......

We lost : D

Well, yes ... missing less and less time to return the car and we had not the faintest idea where we were, arriving in a square we met a police car with three policemen who not only led us to make gasoline, so we do not return the car without gasoline, but we were accompanied to the office of delivery, and also accompanying us in, explaining the reason for our delay.

They were really nice!

Dopo averli ringraziati tantissimo, gentilmente un impiegato del noleggio delle automobili ci ha accompagnato fino all' UQUAM, l'università dove abbiamo dormito per il tempo che siamo rimaste qui; raccontandoci un pò della città e di cosa non potevamo davvero perdere!

Ci stava aspettando una graziosissima stanza, con un bel bagno, un angolo cottura e un bel letto; davvero pulitissima.

Per lo più in questi giorni ci siamo mosse a piedi, è bello passeggiare per le vie della città tutte diverse tra loro con negozi fantastici, caffetterie, chiese e molto altro!

After thanking them very much, a really gentle employee's rental car agency took us up to 'UQUAM, the university where we stayed for as long as we stayed here, telling us a little bit of the city and what we could not really lose!

There was expecting a very nice room, nice bathroom, a kitchenette and a nice bed, very clean room.

Mostly these days we moved on foot, it's nice to walk, the streets of the city are all different with fantastic shops, cafes, churches and more!

Girando per la città siamo arrivate al Centre de Sciences de Montreal, sembra essere una grande attrattiva per tutte le età con esperimenti e informazioni sulla natura e sulla tecnologia; noi non siamo andate volevamo vedere un pò di tutto e il tempo davvero non c'era, ma chiacchierando con un pò di persone mi è sembrato che fossero tutti molto contenti.

Wandering around the city we arrived at the Centre des Sciences de Montreal, seems to be a great attraction for all ages with information and experiments about nature and technology, we do not go 'cause we wanted see a little bit of everything and the time really was not very much , but talking with some people it seemed that everyone was very happy.

Come vi stavo dicendo per le simpatiche vie del centrotroverete un pò di tutto, Foot Locker, Gap, di surf e i miei amatissimi negozi di musica dove adoro passare un po di tempo.

Caffe da second cup e pizza per cena che meraviglia!

Piuttosto vicino all'università troverete anche un fornitissimo supermercato con piatti pronti da consumare!

As I was saying to the nice downtown streets you will find a bit of everything, Foot Locker, Gap, and my beloved surf and music stores where I love to spend some time.

A cup of coffe at "Second Cup" and pizza for dinner, how wonderful!

Rather close to the university will also find a supermarket stocked with meals ready to eat!

Molte delle stradine sembrano essere davvero antiche, locali favolosi vi aspettano con prodotti caratteristici e qualche negozio diverso dal solito adatto ai gusti di tutti!

Many of the streets seem to be really old, fabulous local characteristic products await you!!

Perchè non vi fermate a mangiare da Olive & Gourmando?

Probabilmente ci sarà un pò di fila ma vale la pena, il cibo è buonissimo, l'aria frizzante e soprattutto prodotti biologici eccezionali. Tra questi c'era anche una birra particolarissima, che mi è piaciuta molto!!

Il locale lo troverete in Rue St Paul Ouest è aperto dal martedi al sabato dalle 8 alle 18 tranne il giovedi che è aperto fino alle 22.

Why do not you stop to eat at Olive & Gourmando?

Probably there will be a bit of a row but it's worth, the food is delicious, the fresh air and organic products are exceptional. Among them was a very special beer, which I liked very much!

The venue will be in the Rue St Paul Ouest is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 8 to 18 except on Thursdays which is open until 22.

I parchi sono molto belli.

The parks are really beautiful.

La Mc Gill è una delle diverse università di Montreal, molto rinomata, ha nella sua storia, ebbene si, ben sei premi nobel oltre a attori e uomini politici.

Gli edifici sono di epoca Vittoriana, completamente immersa nel verde, in estate abbiamo trovato davvero tanta allegria nei parchi circostanti, bambini che si divertivano con gli animatori, famigliole e ragazzi che passano un bel pomeriggio all' aria aperta.

The Mc Gill is one of several universities in Montreal, well known, has in its history, six Nobel laureates, as well as actors and politicians.

The buildings are of Victorian era, completely immersed in the green, in summer we have really found much joy in the surrounding parks, children having fun with the animators, families and young people who spend a nice afternoon to 'open air.
