Welcome back guys!
It was the end of the summer when we left, then came the winter, after Christmas and the first outing of the new year,
2010, here we are in Milan!!
We would have been only a day, starting with Alitalia in the morning and return in the evening :).
It 's really a beautiful city, rich in culture, events and shops.
From the airport we went by bus that took us in a quarter of an hour in the center, we began walking through the main streets!
Incantati dai mille colori di queste vetrine, abbiamo continuato a camminare e dopo aver svoltato in una via ecco apparire..
Enchanted by these colorful shop windows, we continued to walk and after turning in a street look here ..
... the Duomo!
Beautiful is not it?!
Right here you can walk into Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, after which you get to the Teatro dell 'Opera, in which square when we went there were also large purple snails, you can see in the pictures later!
If you love jewelry already made or to create, you could go and take a 'look at a particular store, "MASCHIO" . It is in via San Pietro all' Orto 17.
They have many types of stones and jewels, more or less expensive.

It Could be useful to have some information:
- You can buy the tickets to take the subway at newsstands and cost one euro, or st the machines.
There are three subway lines (Red \ Yellow \ Green) that intersect with each other.
- To go in Corso Como I suggest you get off at Garibaldi.
Walking along this street you will pass the famous Milan club "Hollywood", there are also many restaurants and rotisseries where to stay and eat something.
A really good restaurant is the "Rocking Horse"

The kitchen is open from 12.00 to 14.45 and from 19.00 to '1.00; the pizzeria instead from 19:00 to 2:00.
Closed Saturday at lunch.
To give you an 'idea of prices, I can tell you that I spent, at lunch, to eat a generous fillet of beef , a green salad, a Diet Coke and a big slice of pineapple, about 36 €.
You should definitely go to see a really big and great shop, located on several floors selling everything from glassware, dishes, fun kitchen items, photo albums and all kinds of electronic items, computer port and much more!
It's called High-Tech, really cute!

And so it's time to return to the airport, we took the flight and we went home.
A wonderful day trip with a decidedly different destination from the usual.
Obviously if you have more time there is still much to see in this beautiful city!
Let me know what you think or if you need further information, with e-mail or through comments and I hope to be able to answer! : D
